Hi, my name is Gabby, a South African living in Barcelona. Wine has always been a great love of mine and I’ve traveled the world to drink the best wine I could find, a little crazy but it’s true! I am also passionate about visiting as many wineries and vineyards as possible – a cellar view never gets old – and I’m the first to book a wine experience when visiting a new city.
I’ve studied and lived in many countries around the world, and now call Barcelona my home. I have a deep fondness for Catalonia in general and the Penedès wine region in particular, which is rapidly becoming a really well-known winemaking region. Many younger producers are now making waves in this traditional industry, and it’s an exciting place to be.
